I know weekends are when you usually want to splurge on food and use these days as cheat days. Well I am here with a yummy smoothie recipe for ya that is so good for you and still tastes great! Even my 6 year old who eats about 5 things will drink these! Every Saturday I will post a yummy healthy recipe for you to enjoy over the weekend, I promise you won’t feel like you are on a diet! I mean, most of my recipes include a ton of sugar so I HAVE to make the healthy stuff taste good!
I tell ya what, you want an energy boost and an all out vitamin kick, then drink one of these! Check out all the health benefits below.
- Small handful of ice cubes
- 5.3oz Fage 2% yogurt with strawberries
- 1 banana
- Good handful of frozen blueberries
- Good handful of spinach
- 1 teaspoon, heaping, coconut oil
- 1 teaspoon, heaping, chia seed
- 1 teaspoon, heaping, flax meal
- Splash of water
- Blend all ingredients until smooth. Enjoy!
